iPad Camera Connection Kit: USB Not Supported

i've spent days on google reading every article and link and watching every YouTube video out there.

I want to connect a USB stick via a powered USB hub to watch movies off of during a road trip, since i don't have enough storage space. I keep getting the "USB 2.0 FD: The Connected Device is Not Supported" error.

Using a 128gb PNY drive, with a USB 3.0 powered hub. Drive is formatted with FAT32.

Any tips? Road trip is in 3 days, so trying to get this done ASAP..

Get a Wireless USB Drive or Wireless Harddrive like Seagate Wireless Plus

Just be aware that it will only do 4 hours, likely less, before it needs to be recharged.

Yes.. I ended up just keeping plugged in to the car charger. Will suck on a plane though
