Camera Connector Kit-Just Got It

my dear son gave his sweet old mom an ipad for her birthday. i do love it!
i just got the camera connector kit. when i attach the sd card reader to the ipad, then insert sd card the dialog box says the usb device is not supported...i don't understand why it thinks i attached the usb dongle...any help would be appreciated. thanks

If you insert a card that does not have a DCIM folder, you will get that dialog box. Most digital cameras store their photos and videos in this folder. Not all cell phones do, however.

I was amazed how quickly the pictures transferred from sd to the iPad. Seems to be a lot quicker than synching through iTunes.

Try MacConnection. you need to order it over the phone via their 1-888 iPad order number, as it is not listed on their web site.

Does anybody have any idea if I can connect my Palm Centro via USB and make the iPad use it's internal modem to connect to the internet? My Palm allows me to get a laptop (mac and PC) online via the usb cable.
