So, with 5.1, is the camera icon suppose to be on the lockscreen after only one button push? No more double tapping?

I only ask, becaue it doesn't seem to be that way for my phone. It says it's running iOS 5.1 with no updates available.

Yes, single button press, and icon is located to the right of the slide. Swipe the icon UP to instantly open Camera.

Hm, ok, thanks. It's not showing there, only when I double tap. I was using the beta version though, so maybe that's making a difference? I'll just be able to download it at home and install it directly through iTunes since OTA doesn't seem to show any update.

I suspect the beta factor is at fault. From what I understand, the beta expires next week anyway so there'd be no point in keeping it installed. Might as well get the real deal. 🙂
