I just went through to see what iphone 14 pro specs were.

It had sensor with pixel size of 2.44 µm. Regular iphone 15 has pixel size of 2.0 µm. This would point to a different sensor.

The new Iphone 15 pro has sensor size of 2.44 µm which would point to fact it has the same old sensor as iphone 14 pro. So if you are looking for a upgrade to cameras this will most likely happen next year.

Though to be honest compare to regular iphone 14 this looks like a solid upgrade and brings it closer to competition 💪

Sensor size is smaller on iPhone 15. But not sure how the new stacked CIS sensor compares. We really need a review to confirm.

My 15 performs well in photography. I really enjoy the 24MP output and objectively it’s much better than 12MP output from the 14 Pro.
