Camera kit and cases - which ones fit?

I currently have the Apple iPad Case and the Macally FlexFitPad case. I am still waiting on my camera kit to arrive and was wondering if anyone here knows if it will fit into the connector with either of these cases on.

Snug fit with the Apple case, but it fits

Are we sure about that?
Because I do not want to have to remove the iPad from the apple case each time I want to use the camera kit...
