I'm running latest macOS Ventura with latest OpenCore Legacy patcher v0.6.6 and my video applications (Skype, Teams, etc) won't ask for "permissions" to use the camera or microphone?! I think it's related to SIP that is "disabled" in some ways... how can I let macOS to ask for those permissions so I can use the camera/microphone on Ventura with those applications?!

Hey @ctrl-alt-mat, it does sound like this could be related to SIP being disabled. With OpenCore Legacy Patcher, SIP often gets disabled for patches to be applied correctly. However, this might affect app permissions for using the camera or microphone. One thing you could try is manually enabling SIP and see if the permissions issue resolves itself. If that doesn't work, you might want to consider setting up a new user account and testing the video apps there. If they work, it could be an issue related to your user account. Hope this helps!

Disabling SIP does not disable TCC.
Don’t enable SIP when using OCLP, you might end up in a boot loop.
Try to reset the TCC database for camera and microphone. From Terminal

Code:
tccutil reset Microphone

tccutil reset Camera
