Camera+ only searching for "recent photos"

Due to the iOS8 update, the camera app "camera+" is only able to upload recent photos, which includes about 90. I have over 500 pictures that I cant even upload bc of this update. Anyone else experiencing this with this app or any other apps? Super frustrating.
 
A lot of apps still behave like that. And some devs might not be aware of this 🙁
