If you open the Camera app and point it downwards and then raise the phone, the screen will get a slightly yellowish tint to it when you raise it, which is as well apparent in the video if you record it. So far this seems to happen if you raise it toward a computer screen.

Just earlier I sent a vid to a friend where at first I was recording something on my desk and then raised the phone to record something on the computer monitor. And my friend asked me why did the vid turn yellowish when I raised the phone.

I noticed this will happen even if you don’t record video but just point your camera at something and then raise the phone toward a monitor.

Anyone else noticed this?? What’s up with this?

EDIT: note that I keep True Tone OFF, Night Shift OFF + I changed the Color Tint to slightly bluer hue, as I find the default XS colors slightly too yellowish for my taste.
