Is it just me or is the "shutter" speed way faster with iOS4. It seems to be near instant now when taking a picture.

EDIT: It seems to be just on the 3GS and presumably on the iPhone 4. I installed iOS4 on my dads 3G and it is the same as before.

Yeah....much much faster...instant like u said

Also, tap to focus is great during videos. U can even do it during the actual recording process.

The camera shutter is MUCH faster on my 3GS. But better yet....

Have you guys tried to E-mail a photo you've taken with the camera yet? The Mail app gives you a choice of four sizes to send the photo... Small, Medium, Large or Original!

VERY nice feature!!

Can we not pick the shutter speed we want on an iPhone??

They aren't really referring to the shutter speed - as in exposure time - but the shutter lag which is the time between when the button is pressed and the picture is taken.

This. I just said "shutter" because of the animation that is used.

Noticed the shutter animation lag or lack there of right away. I love it.

When I got my iPhone 4, taking photos was fast- almost instant. A couple of my friends accidentally threw my bag around, and it shattered inside. I got it replaced at apple, and got a refurbished one. Now, when I take photos, its not instant. It lags for about .5 of a second to 1 second long, and its really annoying now. Have done a couple of restores, and updated to 4.1 but still no luck. The shutter closes and opens slower than other iPhone 4's i've played with... Can anyone help me here?
