Is it possible to upgrade the built-in camera on the iMac 21" 2013 to a more efficient version?

Theoretically, it's possible.
In reality, there are quite a few matters need to be addressed.
- Parts to upgrade
- Size and shape of the webcam vs Space available and compatible design (like hole to screw it on the aluminum frame)
- Connecting wires (which wire to cut and re-solder)
- Price it would cost vs price one is willing to pay, in considering of the benefit it brings.
