Camera+ vs Stock Camera app

Due to the recent bug where the camera button gets stuck on the Camera+ app I've had to revert to using the stock iPhone app.

Maybe it's just me but it seems that the camera+ app takes better pics. Can anyone confirm this or is it just me?

Yes camera+ generally takes better pics. iOS 5 improved the stock camera app, but in low light I always use camera+.

I'll have to do a low light test but I did not notice quality differences between the two apps on my 4s. OTOH, I am not scrutinizing over the images so I could be wrong. I like Camera+ but I wish it did video; it would be my one stop shop. If it does video then I'm silly and I didn't know.

When I say "better" I really do mean in low light situations. The tap to focus seems to balance out the the image a lot better.

Ok maybe it's not just me. Or maybe it's just on the ip4.

I've read reviews where im not the only one having the stuck camera button.

I use both apps regularly. Camera + on home screen and for more editing purposes, Camera from lock screen and for quick photos or ones where HDR would work.

Anyways camera+ seems to take better pics at night, then stock camera I used both, and they are really good, for Halloween night tho I just camera+ for better pics cause it was dark as hell

Nope. I'm not jailbroken on my 4S, and get this all the time. I find that if I click the settings button, then back into camera mode, it usually unsticks the button. But it's freaking annoying.

The bug fix for Camera+ worked great for me. I was only affected when I started to auto save my images.
