Camera won't open

Hi guys.

Ive got an iPhone 3gs. When I try to open the camera app to take photos/videos, it tells me there is not enough space/ delete existing.

I have 4.9gb free

Any one got any ideas.

So I figured it out. The date on my phone wasn't set right. THis causes alot of things to screw up. like buying things off itunes/ app store.
