I’m in New York City right now taking pictures with the 12 pro. After I take the picture I immediately go to the photos to see them and it seems like they are flickering and autocorrecting themselves. Is this normal? The pictures are gorgeous!

it's the display increasing brightness to 1200 nits to display HDR

I had notice that using my wide angle for night shot, there will have this air circle in the middle. Not sure what causes it.

I still don’t get when after you take the photo and then go into the photo library it makes adjustments before you can view it. Like 3 adjustments then it stops.

Can you please explain :)
when the phone recognizes HDR content, such as a video or photo, the screen brightness will adjust and increase brightness and contrast and such to display the HDR content. swipe between an HDR photo and a non HDR photo side by side and you will see.

You sure that your lens was clean? Looks like there was a smudge. If it wasn’t a smudge, I don’t know but I know my 12 Pro doesn’t have that going on so there’s something amiss there.

It’s deep fusion, when you look at a pic that was just taken before it finishes combining the images you see a lower quality image and then it sort of looks like a glitch across the frame as the final and higher quality image is shown.

I’m so confused! So it’s normal to take a picture and then go to your photos and see the new picture change like 3 times before it becomes a clean picture? I wish there was a way to show you guys what I’m seeing.

Yes, that’s normal. If you don’t think it is, compare in an Apple store or return it for another.

Yeah that’s not gonna happen. ‘Rona in Apple stores isn’t cool. I’ll just play with moms 12 pro. Hers does it as well. I just don’t understand what it’s doing. All I know is the pictures in the 12 pro are phenomenal ! Now if they could just get the 5g squared away with Verizon here I’d be a happy camper.
