ive been wanting to find a good Camino icon, as i love this browser the most, finally found 'em on the support page!! so i was content to change it around a bit!Nermal said:Weird, worked for me. Anyway, I see it was worth an avatar change
Wow. I've never bothered with an optimized build before because I always figured with today's processors the network was the slowest link.oaklandbum said:
Try out the optimized versions, and i think you'll be impressedSantaduck said:I liked Camino before, but it was so darned slow... which is why I went to Firefox, but it was so darned buggy (OS X version). I wish FF was as clean as their WinXP version =\
Anyways, is the new Camino noticeably faster?
No, you'll want to use the 7450 ones. The 745x and 744x are basically the same except the 744x have less cache.auxplage said:Under the optimized versions I do not see 7447 the processor used in my eMac.
It the 7400 the correct optimized version to use?
Thank you very much. I presently am using the March 28 7450, and this optimized version is noticeably faster. It is pretty ridiculous. Plain Camino is faster than Firefox and Safari; this is really fast.oaklandbum said:No, you'll want to use the 7450 ones. The 745x and 744x are basically the same except the 744x have less cache.
