Has anyone run Camtasia on Win7 in a Parallels virtual machine? I need to make some decent quality training videos and want to use a VM if possible. Is a USB mic connected to the VM clear sounding? Any recording lag? I know I can use boot camp but it would be so much easier to stay in OSX.

    Sound should be no problem.
As for lag, as long as you have enough power on the host Mac, then it should run smooth, even if you have the VM layer below.

Hopefully, you meant training as in for software and that kind of stuff. Because running any 3D on a VM via a OS X Host is just painful, most of the time.
