If my current iPad is running beta iOS 12.1.1 (16C5036c), can it be used to setup a new iPad? If so, are there any special steps. Or will it setup as normal? Unfortunately there was no backup saved before adding the beta version.

If I must, is there a way to downgrade the beta version on the current iPad to latest release version without loosing the apps and settings of the beta version?

Yes. You can set up your new iPad with 12.1.1. If I were you, I’d wait about 40 minutes as I suspect we’re going to see 12.1.1 as an official release then.

Yes you can downgrade (for now) as long as Apple continues to sign 12.1.

Oh I didn't realized that!!!! My new iPad will arrive sometime today. I will keep an eye for the release. Thanks again.
