Can a flash hurt the Macbook PRO camera and TrueTone sensor?

If you shine the flash from an iPhone for example directly into the camera and truetone sensor, can you do any damage? I was inspecting the screen while it was off for micro scratches..

I know it sounds dumb but I don’t want to criple the sensor or the facetime camera

If it’s safe in direct sunlight then I would imagine it’s fine.

It obviously depends on the power of your flash and how you use it.
I have a flash that can definitely damage cameras
