Can a Mac Mini be converted into an Apple TV

1. Upgrade to Leopard (make sure you have 1 Gigs RAM for G4 though).
2. Get an IR receiver if you don't have one.
3. Get or find your Apple Remote.
4. Press "Menu" on your remote.

OK, thanks. What do you mean by "essentially", i.e., what features would I not get and a hacked Mini?

youtube (old appletv software) or new one would be lacking the new interface and renting (you could still do it but not by remote, and not hd films).
