Can a regular, non-jailbroken 3GS running 3.0.1 tether?

    Sorry for not searching, but I'm on my iPhone at the moment and I can only get EDGE so it would take me forever to search...

    If so, can you link me to the thread that shows me how to set it up?

    No, sorry. Not yet. Tethering works for me, but I'm on T-Mobile. :p

    I thought there was a hack/workaround that enabled it?

    Read the sticky threads. Yes, there is a modified carrier file you can install to enable tethering on a non-jailbroken phone. Be aware that it is a violation of the AT&T contract to use an iPhone data plan for tethering.
