    Hi all,

My friends Mac was hacked recently and he believes that the ruby script he was emailed and later clicked on started the ball rolling and deleted some of his files and made his mac unusable. Is it possible to do this with a ruby script?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks.

    Ben

Without knowing the details of the script, I'd say its quite possible. Safe computing habits should be embraced such as not running scripts that were emailed to you.
