Can a studio display xdr connect to a very old Intel MacBook Pro?

I’m wondering, is this possible to do and have it be useable? It doesn’t have to support the full 5k (I wouldn’t expect it to), but could it connect and be usable on both the Mac side and also boot camp do you think? Right now I connect to a monitor using the mini display port, so essentially some kind of mini DP to usb-c adaptor?

You might be able to get it to work at 4k with an Intel Mac that has Thunderbolt 3, but there's no chance it'll work with something that doesn't.

While the Apple Studio Display XDR is officially usable only with Apple Silicon Macs, the hardware seems to work with select Intel Macs as well.

I wonder if it would work on an older Intel Mac with TB1 or 2 using Apple's bidirectional adapter?

While a lot of people think it is just to run older TB1 and TB2 devices on modern TB3+ Macs, you can actually run TB3 devices on older TB Macs using the adapter.

TB2 can support 4k @60hz, TB1 can do 4k, but not sure if it can do it @60hz.
