Can an iPad stream music from an Airdisk with an AEBS?

Hi all, can you use a program to stream music to your iPad that you have on a shared USB drive connected to your wifi network? like you can on iTunes?

You can move your whole iTunes library over to the Airdisk. This won't work well if your using a laptop.

I know. That's what i'm doing right now. But i have over 65gb of music. Can the iPad play music streaming from the airdisk too?

Not natively. I used to use Simplify Media for this but it's been pulled from the app store by the developer. There may be alternatives though.
