can an iPhone 4 be used on sprint now?

Ok so I'm going to sell my phone and the buyer wants to know if it will work on sprint. Im done using it so it no longer has a contract on it so can she just go in to the sprint store and have it work? It was originally for AT&T a GSM model

If it was from another carrier, it'll still be locked to that carrier, so no.

It also doesn't have a CDMA receiver in it, so you can't unlock it and use it on Verizon or Sprint

The iphone 4 came in two different models a CDMA model for Verizon and a GSM model for ATT and worldwide GSM carriers.

Technically the Verizon model will work on Sprint if they agree to connect it but the GSM model from ATT will not work. Wrong radio.
