would i have to uninstall itunes 9?
i tried to update itunes from inside the application and it said no updates ,
so i assume i have to download the full application wrather than an update?

i started downloading, it said itunes 9 so i stopped it went back to the download page and downloaded it and said itunes 10 so im happy

Just downloaded v10 from the site. I am in Asia, so it may be that this server is less overloaded and has completely updated from Apple's main servers.
