Can anyone help me connecting monitors?

I’ve two Dell monitors and a HP Laptop

I’ve tried the display cable from the dell p2425h into the other second monitor but it doesn’t detect . I’ve connected the P2425H to the laptop through HDMI

Windows is not something I know about, but MST DP daisy chaining between DP monitors requires a DP signal from the computer to the first display.
