My BooqBag Sleeve from www.booqbags.com fits the thing like a glove, and has excellent protection. The outside is extremely tough, while the inside features an extremely soft place the MBP to rest without getting any scratches. It was a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend it.

I like my Targus Laptop Bag, it only costs $25 and it fits my MacBook Pro pretty well and the front compartment is spacious enough for my extra battery, iPod, and USB Flash Drive. I really like the hard outer shell along with the dense but soft protection inside. I have envied someone else's TB case for a while and finally decided to get one for myself.

A friend of mine has the Tucano "second skin" microfiber sleeve. It's great protection from scratches and scuffs. It fits like a glove and hardly changes the dimentions of the laptop...
If you need better shock protection you can still put it into a more protective backpack (like the crumpler)...

Has anyone used the Speck See Thru shells? I'm considering getting a Speck shell since it should protect the outside of my laptop when I'm using it or it's not in a bag.

I'm using them right now, it does protect the laptop very well when it's out of the bag. The only downside is that it came very scratched up, but I got them 30% cheaper than retail, so I can't complain.
