Hi! I'm fairly new to this sort of thing. I want to be able to edit portions of an MKV file and obviously don't want to go all out and get Final Cut. Haven't had much luck with 'HyperEngineAV'. Can anyone recommend a useful application?

    Cheers!

.mkv files are not that easily editable, as they don't use an editing codec, but you can try the latest beta of MPEG Streamclip to open and edit your .mkv file. It might be a bit more complicated with more than one .mkv file at the same time though.

Is there a way to edit .mkv
