I have a secondhand macbook (ebay) which has been working fine forever, but now the battery has died and I need to replace it. I know that usually I could look on the battery compartment but it doesn't have an original Apple battery in it and no info. Is there a generic one for the model (specs below)?

macbook1,1 intel core duo 1.83GHz 2GB

Thanks:)

Yeah check amazon.com. I got the exact same battery apple sells for $120 for $50. It was from a company called Power Dealz and fit perfect and holds a charge great
