Can App Store install the App in external Hard Drive?

I just bought an SSD to run Lion on it, and I will like to know if it is possible to install the Apps from the App Store in another Hard Drive, not the one I am booting from.
Is there a way to do this?

As far as I know, the Mac App Store will install apps into the Applications folder (wherever that path is located). I don't think you can easily change this.
