Can Apple finally add a landscape button to video player?

I always have landscape mode-locked because it's annoying to accidentally cause an app to go into landscape mode.

The only time I unlock it is when I'm watching a video on Apple's default video player which does not have a dedicated landscape button.

All popular video apps have this button including Youtube and Twitch.

Come on Apple.

Are you talking about iPhone or iPad? Because I don't have a landscape button in the Youtube App on my iPad.
