Just a sea of sameness. This year is just improving hardware. Sequels. Nothing looks revolutionary in the OSes. Gaming on these dual-core and quad-core phones will still suck because it has no buttons which makes sense in getting a quad-core PS Vita for $249. The fact Sony is willing to take a huge loss selling it and they packed so many features like dual-analog sticks, two cameras, two touchscreen panels, WiFi, Bluetooth, microphone, gyroscope, and Six-Axis controls is a worthy launch day purchase. Having a 5-inch OLED is expensive enough already. More powerful than internet tablets like the iPad 2 and at HALF the price! I'm probably more interested in Ice Cream Sandwich than the Nexus 4G's hardware itself. If it is time for Android to step up and even try to surpass iOS, it is the next major update this Fall.
KAL-EL arrives by Fall.
The one Android phone I always keep going back to is the already underpowered XPERIA PLAY. It is the most unique form factor of the bunch. Too bad I am not on Verizon. I'm just waiting for its successor. PS Vita will suffice for the time being. I am craving to beat Mike Tyson's PunchOut again. I think NBA Jam and Mike Tyson's Main Event needs an Android version and should be played the right way - real buttons and not have your fingers smearing and obscuring the screen.
