iPhone 15 Pro Max Can cases (Mous Limitless in my case) affect wifi/cellular speeds?

Just got my 15 PM delivered tonight and set up.

Hmm..closer to my ATT gateway/router (8 feet), the 15 PM got 800 mpbs down, whereas my 12 PM got 550 down on wifi.

Farther away, in our bedroom (probably 25 feet or so), the 12 PM was consistently getting better speeds by about 50-100 mbps on wifi.

*Do you guys think cases (specifically the one I'm using now, "leather" Mous Limitless 5.0) can block wifi/cellular signal? At first I was thinking it was much slower when I had the case on, but it was hard to tell as wifi speeds were all over the place and not consistent (no one else was using wifi at the time) even after taking the case off.

Sounds like it might be the wifi 6e on the 15PM. Does your ATT router support wifi 6e. It's faster in close range and then slows down further away.

I have the white one - I think it's the BGW-320. Not sure if it's just wifi 6 or 6e.

How could I change it? I wouldn't mind slightly slower speeds but to extend farther.
