Can CD MB burn DL DVD+R ?

I have a 2.0 White CoreDuo MacBook. I just checked the tech specs of C2D MB and it says that it can burn DL DVD+r @2.4x. I`d just like to know if my MB can also burn these DL discs or not.

Sorry, but I don't believe it was on the Core Duo MacBooks. I believe it was only one particular MacBook Pro core duo that could do Dual Layer. :\

Open the terminal.app and type the following command;

drutil info

That'll output information about your drive.

That solved it. It doesnt write DL discs at all. thanx for the help mate.
