Chrome for Mac doesn't have an installer. How are you trying to "install" it? Drag the application from the .dmg file you download to your Applications folder. Does it run there?I tried downloading in but it doesn't seem to install
Chrome and Firefox are not available in the Mac App Store.I run three different browsers,safari,Firefox and chrome,all can be found in Mac AppStore,works withouth problems with sierra on a 2015 rMBP.

I would be concerned to have downloaded some kind of trojan horse malware, if I downloaded Chrome or Firefox for Mac on the Mac App Store.
