Can chromecast mirror from Samsung Galaxy Note2?

I was wondering if anyone has the Chromecast and a Note2.
I just read that now you can mirror your phone's screen a la Airplay on your chromecast.

Does this work with any phone including the Note2?

I believe you need Kit Kat 4.4.2 and the latest chromecast update.
