Hi everyone. I have some video_ts folders I would like to convert to AVC MP4 in Compressor. I can import various video files into the batch processor including individual VOB files.. but I can not seem to have it take an entire video_ts folder and rip all included VOB files to one new file.

Is this possible? There is a free program called 'Handbrake' that does this but it seems to have some issues with AVC MP4 right now.

If Compressor can not do this can any other part of the Final Cut Studio? Or any other recommendations for Mac software?

Thanks

I don't think it is possible to do anything with DVD folders in compressor. I assume that Apple left this out because Compressor is meant to take the videos you edit in Final Cut Pro and output it to various formats. Because you can't edit DVD files in Final Cut Pro, there is no reason you should be able to distribute those files.

And then there's the legal hurdles Apple would have to dodge to enable this feature. Overall, I think it is just not worth it for them.
