My airport detects the internet connection at school, and connects to it. However, whenever I open firefox or safari, I cannot browsse. Firefox tells me "Page Load Error" "Address Not Found."

I open Network Settings and see that airpot has an IP address and I try to renew the DHCP Lease, but it yields the same IP address, and still I am not able to browse. My iPhone is able to browse from the same router to which my computer is connected, with no problems. Whenever I insert an ethernet cord into the computer, the internet loads perfectly.

What could this problem be?

Please help.

I'm having the same issue and have been searching forums and it seems a lot of people are having a similar problem. It only happens with my Mac when its connected wirelessly (ethernet is fine) and works on other PC laptops. I have tried everything from repair permissions, zapping the PRAM, turning off the IPv6 and many more all to no avail. One other persons post mentioned the only way they were able to fix it was to buy a new router. My router is fairly old (~3-4 y/o). Is your router new or old? I'm curious to know if this is a symptom of old routers or whether something else is going on.
