Can Cydia App Devs Rip You off?

Hello everyone. I was wondering about the security of cydia. When I put paypal onto cydia, Will a dev steal my money after trying to by their app?
I DON'T want to pirate the apps, that's stealing, and immoral in my opinion. No offense to those who pirate things.
 
Probably not, since the payments are hosted by Cydia/Cydia Store. Even if they do, you can submit a dispute via PayPal!
