Can .DMG be opened in iOS 12?

I encrypted a photo with Apple's Disk Utility, which made it a .DMG folder extension, placed it in iCloud Drive, but it does not open on my iPad. Tried other apps (like file managers or unzippers) without luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

Dought it. Most iOS devices do not have enough space for it. And the .dmg files have to me mounted and I do not see that possible in iOS.
