Hi, supposing I have a moving object, say a car, in a 4K video. Can I use these software to change the color of the car to something else without people being able to detect the modification?

In principle and in Final Cut Pro: Absolutely. But whether "undetectable" depends entirely on the quality and content of the material.

As above. Definitely it's beyond the scope of iMovie.
Yep. This is why I nowadays make nearly all of my YTPs in Final Cut Pro, along with any other elaborate video projects. I mostly reserve iMovie for simpler 16:9 video projects, like fursuit vlogs and such.

Thanks. What is the name of such replacing the color of moving things function? Any good tutorial on how to do it?

Hue vs hue curves in the Color tab in fcpx. I don’t know in iMovie if there is something equivalent
