Can hear HDD

Hey guys, just DLing some stuff and browsing the web, I can hear the HDD's ticking away now and again nothing too loud just I think that the MP is that quiet..

Am I just being paranoid?

Possibly. HDDs do make noise. It's quite normal. Remember, when you're surfing the web or downloading, you're using your HDD.

is your Mac Pro your first computer? HDD will make noise, it has moving parts. If you want more silence, get SSD 😉

No its not my first but am always panicky when I get something new lol, and yeah its so quiet and can sometimes hear the HDD ticking away.

If it bothers you move it closer to the back in the drive sleds. Slot 3 or 4. If it is a 2010 those WS Caviar Blacks are very noisy on the seeks.
