My mom usually goes with AT&T insurance but I'd like to go with AppleCare this time around. I currently have AppleCare One for my MacBook, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro. Since her account is under my Apple Family Share plan, can I add her to my account? If not, if she adds AppleCare, will it charge my account? I don't want her to have to deal with it but I also don't want her to worry about it.

AppleCare One is not a family plan. Only devices signed into your Apple Account are eligible devices.
Your account will only be charged if you enable purchase sharing and Mom opts in.
