Can I attach a file to an ical entry?

Hello all,

Is it possible to attach a file to an ical entry so that it shows on all devices? I am thinking of a situation where I have an ical entry for a meeting and want some notes attached to the entry or a copy of an invitation that I could scan and keep with the ical date.
