Resellers are carting whatever they can out by the suitcase, if you just wanted to get 2 more it wouldn't be a big deal.

well i just went ahead and bought 2 iPhone X 64 gb in SG. gonna pick it up later at the store. seems like silver is more popular and its sold out, but they had space grays available with one of the big 4 carriers. The other 3 carriers were sold out.

Pretty sure the limit is regarding how many you can buy at once. As far as I know, if you have the money and they have the stock you can walk into a store and buy 2 new phones every day.

Think about it, do you really think that after buying 2 you’re banned from purchasing an iPhone X for the rest of your life?

Okay, i'm googling information on how much iPhones I can buy and what the limit is per customer. Since I already bought 2 iPhone X T-mobile 2 weeeks ago, does that mean my limit is over? It's very vague. I've seen 2 iphones per customer per year. I only have 1 apple ID, and I just purchased 2 iPhone X using the same apple ID account and payment today, i can pick it up in 3 hours. now it's probably gonna show up in their system that I purchased 4 iPhone X in a span of 2 weeks.

This is an article from 3 years ago I believe:

http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=3785374

This is an article from 2011 about an iPad which limits 2 per customer per year

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2799748?tstart=0

another article in 2013 shows apple removed the limit for unlocked iphone 5S

https://www.cultofmac.com/204315/ap...ny-unlocked-iphone-5s-customers-can-purchase/

last thing I wanna do is go in there and get denied. I can alway cancel the order

They are barely selling over the actual cost. Not even worth the trouble, to be honest. Especially if you’re using eBay or something that has fees.

You certainly can buy more than just 2. It's simple as make 2 reservations then buy those out, then go back in line and reserve another 2. Keep on doing this till stock runs out. This is how scalpers usually do. Apple store employee don't seem to care if they do this apparently.

well i managed to get 2 iphone X 64, no questions asked. I'm not sure if the apple store lady noticed on her iphone scanner that i purchased 2 before, i didn't see it when i tried to glance at her iphone screen, but i managed to get it. i'm betting that because of black friday madness and frenzy, that the iphone x I got will sell.

Congrats on the score. Now the painful part starts that you have to sell them and get paid.

Not sure where he thinks he's going to scalp these phones. They're readily available pretty much everwhere. Anyone can just walk into any store and buy one at this point, as evidenced by you doing exactly that (and buying 2 of them). Smh.

you're definitely right, only if there are people desperate enough, and if there isn't, well its going back to the Apple store to break even.
