Can I charge my Watch with iPhone Adapter?

Hello,

I bought an Apple Watch, but the adapter that included the package not work with our local outlet power.

Can I use/insort my iPhone6 adapter with Apple Watch cable for charging?

Yes, and any other USB adapter. I use an adapter from an iphone all the time.

I like in the UK and although the plug supplied with the Apple Watch has a really cool design I tend to still use my existing iPhone charger. Keeping the other one fresh and new for when the iPhone one eventually stops working!

Hah, same here! the funky new design plug is still in its wrapper in the box.

This is the reason I still use my iPhone adapter as mentioned in post two. I really like the new design. I bought a US adapter when visiting the states last year, and although small, it still had pins that didn't retract, which I was surprised about since their pins are much smaller than ours.
 
uh the iphone adapter and the apple watch are both 5w? so ding ding ding.. that would be a match. YES! lololol

What do you mean by "really cool design"?

Does your watch charger block look different that your iPhone charger block?;)

In the UK it's completely different and, as others have said, it's a really cool design with retracting pins:

Cool! Thanks for the info, I know I could have looked it up myself had I not been lazy about it ;) And that is a decently cool design, at least relative to the iPhone adapter for the UK. :D

Wish I had seen this before I ordered a new UK Adaptor Plug for my Apple Watch S1

I didn’t realise the iPhone one would work with it just assumed to do it properly get the official adaptor :p ;)~

Least I don’t have to wait to charge it then :D
