After looking at both of those brands, I would have to go with this one from Booq as my first pick:

I don't like the messenger style for the simple fact that if I ever have to run to make a connector flight in an airport, running with a messenger style is a real pain. I've had to do it before, and it was not fun. If you have a backpack, you can sling it on with both straps and run with more security.

no messenger or sleeves for me. If I got a North Face os Spire I would get a sleeve but these 2 brands have a compartment for the laptop that surrounds it like it is a diamond. I am only looking for a backpack. There are some cool ones on both websites but ONLY the backpacks.

Here is one that when you click on the inside of the backpack they look pretty cool. http://www.brenthaven.com/broadmore/backpack

as far as the booq I was looking at this one

too late the SSD is installed 516 Gb I think is the size.

I need all the help I can get with the RAM and want to be able to know who the manufacturer is if the RAM. Most companies online do not want to tell me except a company like Crucial.

If I was not so timid about dealing with the insides of the cMBP I would try and do it myself but most likely not from Amazon. I ned the tools (at least the 00 screwdriver) and the warranty if the RAM goes bad. I did get AppleCare too so if I have to bring the machine in for care, I might need to reinstall the RAM it came with.

Doh... edit just noticed too late :)

Oh come-on it's not rocket science ;) cuz I can do it. Just make sure everything is off and unplugged and you ground yourself, just touch something metal if you're lazy or buy a cheap wriststrap thingy..

Oh and get these...

if you only knew how may people have knocked me for not feeling easy on installing the RAM. I do not want to ruin a $3000 machine for not realizing this is not something I have done and could mess up. We all need to learn but there are better ways to learn. :)

Yea I have tons of links from various people. Crucial even has a Dell computer for their apple video on changing RAM in a MacBook pro. lol

That Brenthaven one is nice, but for me it wouldn't be big enough to fit all the other stuff I bring with me to customer sites. On a typical data center visit, I'm looking at bringing the following, which most likely wouldn't fit inside that Brenthaven bag:

- 15" Lenovo Thinkpad W510 (my work system)
- iPad2
- Huge power brick for ThinkPad W510.
- Wall charger for iPad/iPhone
- 30pin cable for iPad
- Lightning cable for iPhone
- 2 x 3m CAT5e Ethernet Cables
- 5-port 100Mb USB-powered network switch
- Normal length Multi-bit screwdriver
- Stubby Multi-bit screwdriver
- 2 Clickable Sharpie markers
- 2 Pens
- 2 Mechanical pencils
- RJ45 inline coupler, with several DB9 adapters, RJ45 crossover adapter, and RJ45 Cisco console adapter
- 3m T1 Crossover cable
- Notepad
- Streamlight 4AA 6-LED Flashlight
- C14 to 5-15 1ft power cable
- 3ft HDMI cable
- 3 x 32GB USB Flash drives
- 8 x 8GB USB Flash drives
- 8 x 4GB USB Flash drives
- 2 x 2GB USB Flash drives
- 2.5" laptop hard drive in an external Zalman USB2/eSATA enclosure (and associated USB/eSATA cables)
- Pocket knife
- Inspection mirror
- Dental picks
- 50 rubbing alcohol swabs
- 4-port USB 2.0 hub
- 5ft tape measure
- Dental floss
- USB to DB9 serial cable/adapter
- 30 bit precision screwdriver set
- 4 AA batteries
- Pack of gum
- Pair of earplugs
- Pair of bud style headphones with inline mic/volume control
- 2 port USB charger (plugs into car cigarette lighter)
- miniDP/TB to HDMI adapter
- miniDP/TB to DVI adapter

... so, there's just no way I would be able to fit all of that inside the Brenthaven bag. I probably could fit it all inside that Booq one, though, as it appears to be about 3 inches thicker.

If you can fit your stuff into either bag, then they both look like decent options. Flip a coin? :D
