It's annoying looking at the tv to do anything on my mini. What options do I have to control the mini through my laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use screen sharing on my mini, controlling it from my MacBook. The two issues I have are laggy response and screen resolution that keeps changing.
