Can I control that horrid 'boom' noise at start up?

Oh man, kinda makes me wanna do that now.
Keep in mind that's the equivalent to the POST beep on standard PC's. When you hear it, it means that all is well at the hardware level. It's specifically there as a diagnostic. BUT, unlike POST beeps, it can be silenced as mentioned above through various means.
