Apple Music Can I convert/change any MP3s I uploaded to iTunes to Apple Lossless

I have a bunch of old MP3s in Apple Music. I converted a few Spotify Playlists to Apple Music but it seems to have pulled in any matching MP3s I had into the playlist....

Is there any way to tell AM to use a matching lossless track instead of the MP3 or should I just delete them? I guess I could create a playlist of the offending MP3s, export it, delete the MP3 files then import the playlist?

Thought there might be a clever way to "Change to Apple Lossless" or something.

You have to delete them and download them again as lossless. But of course, only songs available as lossless on Apple Music you can download as such.
