I have the BASE of the mid-2011 iMac and I was wondering if I could somehow trade it in, and get a better upgraded one.

I am out of the "bring back" period. :/

There is a 14-day return policy. If you're out of the 14 days, you're out of luck.

How do you figure that? If it breaks they'll fix it. They won't upgrade it.

And if they can't fix it, they'll replace it with one of their many 2011 refurbs of the same specs.

Craigslist or eBay is the way to go.

be happy you have a imac,

I got a 2008 imac and mac book and im okay with it.

Might be slow at times but its fine.
